It varies. Sometimes they can go to another port. Sometimes they can try again later in the cruise.

Figures. Looks like we'll just miss it as we're coming end of August. Would love to get to Coco Cay but think our chances are iffy with August weather?

It depends on the itinerary I guess. Since we have been to Nassau the day before CocoCay, so captain decided to sail to Key West after CocoCay stop is cancelled. The good thing is with an extra sea day, the cruise moved pretty slow and it did not shake too hard.

We're sailing on the Symphony in May 2019. Our itinerary shows Cococay as docked.

Was there Tuesday on the Anthem. They have most of the pylons? in and are pouring a lot of concrete. I didn’t have my phone with me, so no pics.

Grandeur had to skip CocoCay. Went early to Nassau after securing early berth. Docked overnight. Disappointing to miss.

That's earlier then some of the rumors I read floating around here, so that's a good thing!

 

Hopefully there will be no major hurricanes that get in the way of the construction this upcoming season.
