Royal princess - Are the sofas in the deluxe balcony cabins sofa beds?

I have been hoping for a price drop to move to a deluxe balcony for the 3 of us, mainly so that my daughter has a sofa bed rather than a pull down. After reading some comments in other threads I am confused as to whether the sofas in deluxe balcony cabins are actually sofa beds.

Yes, the deluxe balcony sofas are more like loveseats.

I am a an XXL sized adult and slept ten days on the sofa bed. It was just fine and was more comfortable than the average sofa bed. However, we will go back to mini suites as the sofa bed when out was overly obstructive. The larger balcony was great in the Caribbean but the room was not adequate for our needs compared to a mini suite. Room was accurately described and we tried it for a bit of cost savings. We had a good time but found the deluxe balcony room inadequate space for three adults.
