TheLargeFamily Posted January 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Are they the same if we wait to book them on the ship?
Clarea Posted January 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Generally, yes, but there are occasional sales for pre-cruise purchases.
maryjaden Posted January 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2018 The popular ones will sometimes sell out.
cb at sea Posted January 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Before you start booking excursions, get a guidebook (libraries are free!) and see if what you want to do is easy on your own. Most things are! And with a large family, it can save you a bundle! The more you know about your ports, the less an excursion is required!

The more you know about your ports, the less an excursion is required! but since the popular ones sell out quickly sometimes.. i would book it first.. then get the book.. you can always cancel (i think up until 3 days before the trip) but can't book if its sold out.. Rjh8842 Posted January 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Royal also has private excursions. You tell them what you want to do and they set everything up. But this requires advanced planning.
