Roxally1 Posted January 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2018 can anyone tell me how much it costs to book a late checkout cabin on the discovery 2. We will not be transferred to the airport until mid afternoon and would like to have a cabin for our use on the last day Thanks in advance. Pensioncruiser Posted January 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2018 We have never done this but from what I can recall it was about £25 but that's not all day and its not necessary the cabin you have, you can book a curtsey cabin, free, for a shower etc. Sent from my VF-895N using Forums mobile app
Vitalsign Posted January 5, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2018 We regularly book a cabin when in the Caribbean as it's a late pm departure You need to do this as soon as it's advertised as there are limited cabins available The cabin you are given depends on the arrival of the guests who will be in it for the next cruise so as said not necessarily the cabin you have cruised in You can get the cabin usually from approx 9am until you leave and the cost was £35 the last time which four of us generally share cutting down he cost
Miller Cruiser Posted January 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2018 We did the Transatlantic back in November. Late check out cabins were NOT advertised, which meant that we missed out on getting one. We have always booked a late check out cabin previously. I think the cost was £25 for a cabin from 9:00 until 2:00.
Reina del Mar Posted January 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2018 We cruised in three balcony cabins but kept one till 2pm for £20 or £25. We were fortunate enough to keep our original cabin and family brought their hand luggage for storage and towels for a shower. Worked well. Pool towels were collected previous evening and none available on deck..possibly worth asking steward to leave them if considering swimming on last day. Vitalsign Posted January 6, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2018 We paid £35 on Majesty in September but it was £25 on Dream and Celebration earlier in the year so I presumed TUI had put the cost up and we did stay after 2pm
