Should we do a fishing excursion in Seward or Ketchikan?? It seems like there are other options in Seward and not as much in Ketchikan. Thoughts???

By no means am I an expert on Alaska fishing. If you just want to catch any kind of fish then either place should work. If you want to catch Salmon then a private charter in Ketchikan is likely your best choice.

We've enjoyed fishing in Ketchikan.

 

What we wore was based on the weather but a hat, a vest, long sleeve shirt and pants the times we did it.

 

In Seward we did other things.

The last 4 cruises to Ketchikan, we fished with Nick of ChasinTail charters. I think he is one of the best guides in Alaska.
