Headliner Show

How do people find out the headliner show ahead of time? Last year on Oasis someone in our roll call knew what seemed like a couple months head of time who the Headliner was going to be. Sailing on Oasis this Apr 8.

The one time I asked and got the answer, I was greatly disappointed when that particular entertainer was nowhere to be found. Since then, I make reservations for the headliner, find out who it is once I get onboard, and then decide whether to go or not.

You can send an e mail to web_reservations@rccl.com requesting the information.

I'd send that email no earlier than 3 weeks before the cruise, because many times they don't know very far in advance.

If you ever see as a headliner act, "Abbacadabra", definitely go see them. They are a fantastic imitation Abba group. Have seen them numerous times. They have been on the Allure, Oasis, Independence, Serenade and the Freedom of the Seas.

 

You will be totally impressed if you like "Abba" music.

The headliner normally changes week to week.  Send a request to web_reservations@rccl.com to find the headliner for your cruise.

A buddy and his wife used to do the cruise ship entertainment deal.  She was the lead singer of an Abba tribute group (I emaield to see if it was the one mentioned), and he was the sound/road manager/tech guy.

 

They would board X ship in FL, then get off a port and board Y ship (many times different lines), and repeat, sometimes out for several weeks before returning.  Sometimes they flew to a port to board, or flew back.

I checked with my buddy, Abbacadabra was the group they were part of.

 

He is now the head sound guy for a hotel/casino in Reno.  Last I heard, she was still singing Abba part time.
