March Silhoutte Cruise

We are going March 11 on Silhoutte. We were wondering how the condition of the Islands are and how the seas are, rough/smooth etc. at this time.

What itinerary - ports of call? Typically, ports of call will not be scheduled if conditions there wouldn't warrant it. Seas are impossible to predict and can vary day to day from calm to rough based on weather factors and wind conditions.

I looked it up and it's Eastern, going to San Juan, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.

I am on the same cruise as the OP. A friend just did this cruise and here is what he said.

 

San Juan, old port area OK. Would not have know there was a hurricane. He heard other parts of the Island are in bad shape.

 

St Maarten, Ship skipped St Maarten and went to St Kitts instead (that is a possibility for the 3/11 cruise)

 

St Thomas, saw lots of homes with tarp roofs and a lot of unrepaired damage. He did not go to the beaches so can't report.

Celebrity is returning to St Maarten on Feb 6 with Celebrity Equinox

Have a friend who did this cruise in December. In St Thomas, they did the Celebrity Secret Sands excursion. They said it was the most beautiful unspoiled beach they ever saw.
