:D We love shopping and bringing packages home to the kids and pups. Are there places such as UPS close by where we can mail home things instead of lugging them on ship. We will be doing the New England/Canada tour in Septermber/06. ?

Just wanted to say that usually it's not too hard to find a post office near the ports where you can send packages home. We also try to mail our children post cards from most ports that we visit. We either mail the post cards at a local post office or on most ships you can purchase the stamps through them and they will have them mailed for you.

I've had no personal experience with mailing packages home, but if the postcards are any indication - well, you might see your packages weeks and weeks later.

I've always mailed postcards - some from the ship, but some from the local post offices on islands, etc........never had a postcard arrive before at least 5 weeks after I've gotten home. I think I'd be afraid to trust anybody with my packages.
