kimberlym4 Posted January 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2018 I know the wisdom for a peaceful room is to get staterooms on a deck with cabins above you and cabins below. However, on our Independence sailing I really wanted connecting balcony rooms but the only ones I could get were on Deck 6 - in the middle of the deck - but above the 5th Promenade. Are we apt to have a lot of noise with that public area below us?
Clarea Posted January 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2018 I don't think it will be that bad. Directly below would be the shops or food venues, not the actual Royal Promenade.

kimberlym4 Posted January 15, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Which cabins? Best not to be over the Pub. 6000 and 6002. It's hard for me to tell exactly what they are above.

However, those photos were linked fron Photobucket, which stopped allowing 3rd party hosting.
cb at sea Posted January 15, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2018 You will be above the highest level of the theater. Unless you're really "early to bed" folks, shows end around 11 or so. Doubt you'll be too bothered.
