AnnDenOz Posted January 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2018 I'd really appreciate it if any experience cruisers could update me on Oceanias wines. The wine package offered at $47.50 a bottle include a lot of $10 on shore wines that I would be unlikely to buy to go with an upmrket dinner. I am not sure if these same wines are the "house wines" either. Is there a better list of wines, certainly at a higher price, that I can buy by the bottle on board in the general restaurants? Thanks anyone. :)
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2018 AnnDenOz: Welcome to Cruise Critic. While you may get your answer here I would recommend posting all of your Oceania specific questions on the dedicated Oceania Cruise Line Board at: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=51 Keith
Bonnie J. Posted January 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Don't know about Oceania but on most cruise lines you can take one bottle of unopened wine per adult person. If you want to be sure to have a good bottle of wine, then take it aboard with you.
Cruseforme Posted January 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2018 On Oceania, you can bring as many wine bottles as you wish onboard. No limit, just pay $25 corkage if you wish to drink at dinner or in bar, they will hold your bottles for you. Otherwise, it is free to bring onboard, and drink in Suite/Cabin. As far as the $ pkg, please as above, come over to the O board, and search on wine pkg, there are many posts listing the bottle selection already on the forum. Many thanks Cruseforme - I was told by Oceania I was limited to 3 bottles to take on board. But if no limit that would be great as the $25 corkage is way better than $47.50 for a $10 wine.
