Endless bubbles or not...

Good afternoon.....

Question for those that have purchased the endless bubbles, or not.....how is the taste of the soda? We were on an RC cruise a couple of years ago and purchased their version of the endless bubbles and the cola tasted like it was very watered down and had a hint of root beer taste to it. As a result we used it very little and I'd hate to purchase on this cruise later this year and again not really use it.

 

I'm assuming it's fountain filled (vs from a can or bottle)?.

From my experience, the sodas are out of a can. They open it right in front of you and pour it over ice. This is just what I've seen while being at the bars, though, I haven't actually drank soda on a cruise.

it is out of can but watered down over ice as its warm, usually its flat as they finish up the can that's already opened first .. bring a 12 pack ...

Personally I'd take my own soda with me, that way it will be in my room when I want it and can take it with me without having to go to a bar to get it. Not to mention I like to drink my soda out of the cold can vs having it poured over ice.

I usually buy so I can get a soda when and where I want. I wish they would keep the can cold but they do not. Also so of the waiters will avoid you if the know you are using the Bottomless Bubbles program.

if you need to buy a soda/soft drink. they will give you a full can & a glass of ice. If you get Bottomless Bubbles they will pour from a can directly into a glass of ice..

I personally have no interest in lugging cases of soda on the ship. Nor do want to keep making trips back to my cabin when I want something to drink. When I want something, I go to the closest bar and use my BB. A little watered down isn’t going to hurt me.

The lemonade, Arnold Palmer and the bottled water we purchased was enough for us. On the next cruise i think we will bring some sodas but it really wasn't needed.
