luckyprincess Posted January 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Hi! So we leave in about 18 days! Wooooo! My friend and I (her first time cruising) are usually very prepared and love to check every detail. We have both been trying not to look at weather forecasts lol. I know it's more than 2 weeks out and things change. My question for weather savvy people - how far out is too far out to check weather? Also is there a site that checks at sea weather? My last cruise I checked ahead of time but we got slammed with a terrible storm with big gusts and serious swells resulting in my husband never cruising again lol. Not much I can do about it at this point but I'd love to know if I'm missing out on some good accurate forecast sites.

The nightly cruise compass sheets will tell you the weather forecast for the next day.

matj2000 Posted January 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Each day on the ship. Wake up. Go out on the top deck and look around at the sky. That will be the best forecast you could do..
