What is your favorite weather forecast site for cruising?

Hi! So we leave in about 18 days! Wooooo! My friend and I (her first time cruising) are usually very prepared and love to check every detail. We have both been trying not to look at weather forecasts lol. I know it's more than 2 weeks out and things change. My question for weather savvy people - how far out is too far out to check weather? Also is there a site that checks at sea weather? My last cruise I checked ahead of time but we got slammed with a terrible storm with big gusts and serious swells resulting in my husband never cruising again lol. Not much I can do about it at this point but I'd love to know if I'm missing out on some good accurate forecast sites.

I use the default app on my iphone to check weather daily while on the ship.

The nightly cruise compass sheets will tell you the weather forecast for the next day.

My phone was super sporadic last cruise :loudcry: I don't think I ever checked the compass for the weather lol! Good to know thanks!

The weather changes so often in the Caribbean I finally gave up checking.

Each day on the ship.

Wake up.

Go out on the top deck and look around at the sky.

That will be the best forecast you could do..
