CruiserToo Posted January 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Can you use cash in the casinos, or do you have to use your room card and charge it to the room? I've heard conflicting stories. We are on Liberty of the Seas in May. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Clarea Posted January 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2018 (edited) If you're playing the tables, you can use either cash or your Seapass card. What Royal ship is this? I've not heard of the casino on a Royal ship taking a SeaPass card for play. Edited January 23, 2018 by Host Clarea

norhel Posted January 23, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 23, 2018 What Royal ship is this? I've not heard of the casino on a Royal ship taking a SeaPass card for play. On Independence back in September 2016, I could use my SeaPass card to play at the table. On the slots there also was a touch screen that I think people could use as a bank do download money to the slot machine. But don't quote me on the last one. George C Posted January 23, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Isn’t there a surcharge for using your seapass card? I always take cash
Clarea Posted January 23, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Isn’t there a surcharge for using your seapass card? I always take cash If you get cash at the casino against yur SeaPass card, there's a 5% charge, unless you have a cash type onboard account or are a member of the player's club. It is 5% even as a member of the players club, and it is charged until you reach VIP level, which I think is 1000 or 1500 points while on the cruise. VIP also gets you free drink in the casino. Nice if you don’t have the drink package! Sent from my iPad using Forums
