brad813 Posted January 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2018 I have never purchased a drink package before and was wondering if the Cheers package ends debarkation day or the night before. I am considering it for a short Bahamas cruise, just for myself, and am trying to evaluate whether it would be worthwhile for me, but cannot find this information anywhere online. Thank you, in advance, for your answers.
jerrya72 Posted January 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2018 I used it on debarkation day for a coffee but I don't know if any of the bars are open.
Alaskan Joe Posted January 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Hey Brad813 not sure about bars being open that morning, but here is something that may help you decide if Cheers is right for you. ProgRockCruiser Posted January 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2018 A mimosa or Bloody Mary is always an option, I believe, on debarkation day!
mdsgu Posted January 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2018 We have found that it is worth it, but it depends on how much you will drink. Remember that unlimited soft drinks, water, and coffee are included! You also have to remember that if you purchase it, everyone in your cabin over age 21 has to buy it, too. I was particularly wondering about using it for Mimosas/Bellinis in the dining room on debarkation day.

Traveling alone, so non-issue there.

ProgRockCruiser Posted January 23, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Didn’t they stop dining room, service on debarkation day? It was room service breakfast that they stopped recently, IIRC. Found this on the Carnival website, regarding debarkation day activities: https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1369/kw/debarkation%20day Guests may enjoy one last breakfast or relax with a cup of coffee. The main dining room serves breakfast 6:30am-8:30am (open seating) Also, at least a couple of the bars are open: Bar service is open at the main pool area and a designated bar on the Promenade Deck.
