i have the hub app on my phone and my wife's phone. where and when do you purchase the chat feature to use on ship

Once you get on the ship you log it and it walks you through the purchase.

There is an texting thing that you can text to other people on the ship.

You must buy it for $5. Each person who want to use this must buy it for $5

Then there a texting thin in the hub that you use

Sorry to jump on, but does anyone know if it is working well? I read before that it was slow delivering texts.

On my last cruise in January 2017 on the Sunshine it was a little flaky. There were times with our group chat that someone might randomly get disconnected and we needed to create a new group. But for the most part it worked great!

I did read here a few days ago that someone noticed if you close out the chat window that the notifications of a new text message were much more prompt. I don't know if that's the general experience or not. Here's that thread:

We used the chat feature on the Sensation in September and it worked very well for us. We didn't have any problems with it at all.
