Lem_On_Ade Posted January 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Good Morning! I woke up to an email from Carnival offering me an upgrade (my first one ever) for $24 total! We are currently booked in an inside room 2304 on the Magic. The offer is for an inside with a picture window on the empress deck 7201. All opinions are welcomed. I've never stayed in an interior room before and am torn because I love the room location of my original booking but am really enticed by the thought of having a window, even if it is obstructed views. I've read that the higher up/further forward you are the more movement you feel. Also, the new room is under the bridge. What do you guys think? LMBB Posted January 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2018 I prefer the interiors because I like it very dark when I sleep. Others find it depressing. If you’re prone to motion sickness I’d stick closer to the middle and a bit lower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Djptcp Posted January 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2018 I would definitely take it as it's a very cheap amount to go to a cabin with a window and natural light. If you have never had an interior cabin before why start now? We have had several in over 40+ cruises and they are somewhat depressing and claustrophobic for us and only took them because they were free cruises courtesy of the casino. As to the upper deck location, don't worry about movement because if there are higher seas you will feel the movement no matter where you are. Have a great cruise! hate2shop Posted January 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2018 If you haven't accepted it yet it's probably gone. That's a great deal for a very popular cabin category.
