panzafit Posted January 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2018 We are a group of 14 taking my friend on a Royal Caribbean cruise in April for her birthday. One of the ports is Nassau. She wants to do some type of highlights tour. I have narrowed it down to the 3 below. Has anyone been on one of these to know if one is better than the other? Or how reliable # 2 and 3 are since they aren't affiliated with the ship. Or any comments at all? Any and all help appreciated. 1) The Essential Nassau tour through Royal Caribbean http://www.royalcaribbean.com/shoreExcursions/product/detail/view.do?ProductCode=NS48&DestinationCode= 2) Big Mama's Highlight Tour https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductDetail-g147416-d9564285-a_aidSuffix.tvrm-a_partner.Viator-a_product.28075P2-Big_Mama_s_Tours_Taxi-Nassau_New_Providence_Island_Bahamas.html 3)Tyronne Highlights https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductDetail-g147416-d8685939-a_aidSuffix.tvrm-a_partner.Viator-a_product.16383P1-Tyrone_Wilson_s_V_I_P_Taxi_Tour_Services-Nassau_New_Providence_Island_Bahamas.html
ggtjr Posted January 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Looks like #1 is great. We visited Charlotte's castle and staircase while on a Carnival excursion Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using Forums mobile app
Rare mskaufman Posted January 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2018 With a group of 14 you can google Nassau walking tour and save a bunch of $$. We went to the staircase last month and it was a 15 minute walk from the ship.
panzafit Posted January 24, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Thanks! I thought of that but someone is bringing their 1 year old and doesn't want to walk the whole time and of course the group has decided to stick together. Gotta please everyone....lol. mjkacmom Posted January 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Good reviews, I’d go with the cheapest. Will the one year old have a car seat?
panzafit Posted January 25, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted January 25, 2018 Thanks! No, the 1 year old won't have a car seat, but I was just told she may end up having her sister watch the baby instead of taking her on the tour. I think we might go with the cheapest. Not only is it the cheapest but you don't have to pay ahead of time. They just want you to pay cash when you get there. So if the ship is late into port or he is a no show no one is out any money.
