Transport to fort Lauderdale airport

Any good advice on how to get to Fort Lauderdale airport at end of cruise.

MSC might offer a shuttle, which will likely be overpriced.

Any reasonable local transport straight from ship or advice on pricing for a Taxi or Uber ?

In Feb., 2017 I ordered 2 Uber cars for 5 adults, 14 days of luggage and a folding rolling walker to go from Celebrity’s Port of Miami terminal to FLL. UberX (a “regular” sedan) was $39.63. UberXL (a minivan/SUV) was $72.71. And, yes, we needed both cars!

We prefer Jiffy Jeff Transport...they offer $15 pp each way, FLL to Miami Port and return.

They use large sprinter vans with captains chairs, very nice...check out their website http://www.gojiffyjeff.com/rates/

From previous posts it seems Uber or Lyft are the best choices.

We just returned yesterday. We planned to use uber but once outside there were so many passengers and cars we weren’t sure where to go for a pick up location. Instead, we got into the taxi queue and our fare to FLL at 10:30 am was $75 plus tip. Hope that helps.

I've used Uber at Port of Miami before, and I usually get off the ship really late and never had a problem locating the driver, but good to know the taxi rate s $75-

SAS was phenomenal. $15 pp and the van was clean and driver super. Used him last Thursday

I’ve used sAs numerous times. Most of the time it’s great- even had a Mercedes cargo van from fll to Miami hotel. However last trip on the way back the van was less than ideal. I may check out jiffy Jeff as mentioned in this post. Both ridesas and jiffyjeff are $15 pp per ride.
