CheckersMidwest Posted January 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2018 Where do you recommend eating ashore in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan? Somewhere not far from port with good seafood ?

Northern Aurora Posted January 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2018 checkers: You may not realize that you seem to have started two threads, so may want to ask the forum moderator to merge them. But regarding Ketchikan, we have enjoyed meals at Annabelles. Very easy walk from the cruise docks. In Skagway we generally stop at the Skagway Brewing Company. Virtually all restaurants in Alaska have websites, so just google them for exact locations and menus.
DarkJedi Posted January 31, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2018 Deck Hand Dave's in Juneau. Never ate there but was told by someone from there I needed to stop there on our cruise. Was also told to stop by the Red Dog Saloon to see the memorabilia & the Glory Hole, because well, its the Glory Hole. BTW, The Glory Hole is a Christian center that helps out homeless people in Juneau. They provide meals around the year and during very cold weather they provide living space for homeless people. So get your mind out of the gutter, stop by, give them a few bucks to help those in need, take your picture under their sign, and you can tell everyone you went to the Glory Hole when you get home.
