Disembark at the end of the cruise and for excursions

This is our first time cruising with Carnival and I have a question regarding disembarking.

On Princess at the end of the cruise they let you disembark earlier if you had a flight to catch. Does Carnival do this?

For excursions booked through the ship there was a separate line to disembark to go to the meeting place for your excursion. Does Carnival do this?

all cruiselines operate this way.

If you want off early for a flight, tell guest services and they'll give you an early number, OR you can take advantage of being the very first and carry off your own luggage.

Also as with all other cruise lines, if you have a post cruise excursion, they tell you where to meet and at what time, and you all get off the ship with that group.

Thank you! Regarding the excursion, I should have written it clearer. I was talking about the excursions in the ports, Puerto Vallarta etc. Sorry! :)

Half and half

Sometimes meet in a lounge or somewhere or sometimes meet out on the pier. If out on the pier, the excursion people are standing around with big signs and ship reps are standing around to help you find your excursion.

For excursions your tickets will indicate when and where to meet. As mentioned sometimes that will be on the pier as described previously with people holding signs or sometimes in the show lounge. Again, just check your tickets for where and what time.

As far as excursions booked through Carnival, they usually meet after you get off the ship. No special line to get off. For tender ports, you do have priority and are given a place to meet on board to leave as a group.
