Using OBC offboard

I thought I read recently that you can now use OBC to reserve excursions on the ship before you actually cruise. Could not find post and was wondering if it is true. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can. It will show up in your reservation and can use it for excursions, dining, internet etc

Yes, it is true - as long as the OBC's are from Celebrity and not from your travel agent.

If you have OBC from Celebrity it will show up when you log in and go to your cruise planner. You can then use that for excursions, dining, beverage packages or upgrades, WIFI etc. OBC from your TA will only show up for use once you're on board.

Go to your cruise planner, there you can use your OBC for purchases, if you book in other currency also will show the exchange rate for your USCy OBC
