Day trip/ (cruise), adult oriented, open late

We are looking for a upscale beach club, or resort for a stop during our cruise. We are scheduled to be docked 11- 11, so would like something open late. AI or non AI are both fine. Looking to relax not party.Thx!

Most of the beach clubs close about 5 -- some will stay open another hour or two when a ship has a late port stop, but there's not much point in a beach club after dark.

 

Are you arriving a 11 Cozumel time? Sometimes ship's time is different depending upon where you are sailing from and what ship/line.

 

I would get off ASAP and taxi to Nachi Cocom - limited to 130 guest per day, quiet & relaxing, small pool and hot tub, nice beach, plus great food, drinks and service. AI for about $55 each and the taxi (for up to 4 passengers) will run about $17 each way. After a day at the beach taxi back to downtown for shopping, drinks and dinner before returning to your ship.

Cozumel Palace used to do day passes until 11pm which included evening entertainment and dinner. I don’t know if it is still available you would need to write and ask directly. There is no direct beach access since it is in town between the piers but has an upscale reputation.

 

Other hotel resorts offer late or evening passes or you could do a day at the beach and evening meal at a restaurant on the west side and catch sunset.
