We just cant seem to make up our minds about doing excursions on our next cruise-and then I saw this, visiting a girl's orphanage... I was adopted when i was 6 months old, and now years after my parents have passed, (and I have no children, just fur babies) I would like to give something back in a way. Have you been? Did you bring things for the girls? Did you feel that being there made a difference in their lives? in yours?

Just got back from visiting the girls orphanage. They were very happy to see my family and to show us their modest "home". The girls danced and sang for us. We took several small gifts and donated $$$ as well. They have so little that almost anything is a big help. The visit was rewarding for my family as well, and reminded us of how truly fortunate we are.
