Time to board in Southampton for 20:00 departure?

For an upcoming trip on Orchestra, I have a check-in time given on the ticket of 15:45 for an 18:00 sailing - which I am going to totally ignore, as my flight gets into Barcelona at 11AM. I have a Black Card status and an Aurea cabin - I will not be waiting for 4 hours to board a ship. The ship can sail without me if they make me wait. I didn't actually realise this was an MSC policy that check-in would only be permitted 'from' the time listed on your ticket (which isn't issued when you book so how can you plan flights etc.?). I believe I am entitled to 'priority' check-in for being in the Aurea category. If I had stuck to my original Fantasica cabin, and had to abide by that check-in time, it would be the last time I'd sail MSC until this ridiculous policy changed.
