Rain all day long? Now what do we do? Suggestions? [emoji41]

We will be in Routan next week and the day that we have booked at Little French Key calls for rain all day long! Not exactly what we were hoping for? Any suggestions?

Welcome to Cruise Critic! This happened to is last year at Belize. We just stayed on the ship and enjoyed what was already paid for. Since Roatan isn’t a tender port you might go ahead and head out and see if the weather improves. Lots of times it rains for an hour and then clears up. Just depends on how spoiled you would consider the day relative to the rain and activities important to you. We always pack a few disposable rain ponchos if just for the return walk from the terminal to the car. Once I. A while they have kept us relatively dry until the sun came back out.

as lifes-a-beach said.... Lots of times in the Caribbean it rains for an hour, then sun comes out. Has happened to us many times. Turns out to be a lovely day with only passing showers. Only once have we had rain all day anywhere, and that was last October in Cozumel when we were there for a week during the tropical storm. Seriously, don't panic....it will most likely be a great day in Roatan.
