Are there car rental agencies near where the ships dock in Philipsburg?

We dropped our car at the port a few years back when we stayed a week prior to our cruise. Hertz was who we used. I suggest you take a picture or a video on your phone of a walk around the car prior to leaving for reference if needed.

A walk around with pictures is what we do no matter where we rent a car.

 

We used Hertz at the port a couple of times as well and would recommend them.

Coastal Car rental. We have used them 3 times rent twice for a group of 5 and then a large van for 10. Excellent service prior to cruise and the day of.

Rodael is recommended by a couple car rental companies that I personally know as very good - i.e., Unity and Kennys. Elton is the operator.

We rented from Hertz this week and booked thru Orbitz, just use Philipsburg as search. The pick up and drop off area is right inside the cruise ship terminal, when you walk off the pier turn right just past Effy jewelry and they are located at the back of the parking lot.

 

Also we drove around to the french side, you can get through no problems, but lots of damage and some services are not available.
