Debitoo Posted February 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2018 I'm considering a cruise in a suite. Does Carnival offer any perks for staying in a suite?
Sooner01 Posted February 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2018 Carnival suites come with few perks other than a nicer room with jet tub and dressing area. You do get priority embarkation, but not early access to your room. We still did FTTF with our suite so we could get the early access.
Nerina Posted February 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2018 We're new to Carnival too! Have been loyal to Royal for years with 30+ cruises. Hear the only thing we get as suite guests is priority boarding & 2 bottles of water in our suite. Guess we will find out when we board in September. CKM Posted February 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2018 I stayed in the Grand Suite on Carnival Conquest. Other than priority embarkation and debarkation, priority tendering, priority resturant reservations, priority spa, etc. The suite was awesome, since there was 4 of us we needed the extra room. Plenty of closet space and drawers. On Celebrity you get a butler, but you also pay the price. Sent from my iPad using Forums

TrinaLC Posted February 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Real estate play only. We enjoy suite perks and their absence on carnival prompts us not to book suites. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Reenie75 Posted February 26, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2018 If you were upgraded to a suite from balcony would you still receive priority on embarkation?
jerseyjjs Posted February 26, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Compared to other cruise lines, Carnival's suite perks are practically NIL. A liter of water, priority embarkation/debarkation, and more square footage.......all of which you paid several hundred dollars more for.
skiingj Posted February 26, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 26, 2018 If you were upgraded to a suite from balcony would you still receive priority on embarkation? I did but that was my fist Carnival cruise 13 years ago.
skiingj Posted February 26, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Carnival suite perks are not that great. Royal has great perks! Besides what was mentioned above, on the Glory a few weeks ago we also got better bathroom amenities. We did have to ask for refills a couple times. CaFireCaptain Posted February 27, 2018 #12 Share Posted February 27, 2018 RCCL perks were much better than CCL, have done multiple suites on CCL and doing one next month. Having the concierge on RCCL on the last trip was great, the lounge was fun (free drinks and orderves before dinner was cool) and having the concierge take you straight to the tender down through the staff access only areas while bypassing all lines was worth it
Jgatts0212 Posted February 27, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 27, 2018 Do you still get the perks in a Family Harbor Suite?
DT-Cruiser Posted February 27, 2018 #14 Share Posted February 27, 2018 These are the benefits of booking a suite: - Guaranteed Dining - Priority Check-in and Express Boarding - Priority Tender Boarding/Priority Debark at Ports of Call - Priority Debarkation Guests in Deluxe suites will also receive: - A high level of service provided by our most highly-rated stateroom stewards - Two complimentary in-suite large bottles of water - One complimentary bag of laundry I sailed on Pride last September and my luggage had FTTF stickers on them when they arrived. The stateroom was ready, but I didn't arrive until about 2pm.

We are platinum on Princess and NCL. Good perks.
j603 Posted March 23, 2018 #17 Share Posted March 23, 2018 I saw a video of one of the suites and it showed the mini fridge stocked. I am assuming that those are "have to pay for these" types of items, is that a correct assumption? Also, if there is only 2 chairs on thebalcony, will they get s a third for my son?
