fishywood Posted February 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2018 Not in recent years based on my experience. In 2009 embarked Coral Princess on Easter Sunday and there were several holiday items on the menu. I heard the same menu was offered the previous night so they were able to spread the special menu over two cruises. In 2011 embarked Star Princess the Saturday of Easter weekend, Sundays dinner menu was the standard one for first formal night. And in 2016 embarked Emerald Princess also on Saturday before Easter. We were in Princess Cays on Sunday and other than possibly an appearance by the Easter Bunny in the kids club it was pretty much any other Sunday on board. lois1112 Posted February 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2018 My sister and I did a cruise to Hawaii on Island years ago and they decorated the entire staircase with huge chocolate easter eggs and bunnies after about 5 days they were handing the eggs out to people.............they weighed about 5 pounds each. JoJo1973 Posted March 1, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2018 I'm curious about this too... Will depart on March 30th and be somewhere between LA and Hawaii on Easter. Once did a HAL cruise over Christmas & New Years and they went all out.
GUT2407 Posted March 1, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Never noticed much at Easter, maybe some eggs as decoration I think it as been “Formal” night on our Easter cruises. Good Friday always had plenty of seafood options.
victory2020 Posted March 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2018 I remember they had a couple of special Easter entrees & an Italian Easter cake on the dessert menu. Also had a Seder as Passover was the same weekend.
