escentialssoycandles Posted March 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2018 It will be our first time sailing out of San Juan for our honeymoon this December. Our departure time is 9 pm. Are we able to check in to the ship, get our things to our room and then disembark? I have family there so it would be nice to be able to spend some time with them or just go hang out in the city. CPT Trips Posted March 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2018 That was doable a few years back.
jdvmd Posted March 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2018 Possibly. There will be a lifeboat drill in the afternoon most likely.
Rare BostonGal35 Posted March 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2018 its probably a hassle to do this. best bet is to spend the day with your family, then go board the ship. when sailaway is 4pm, all aboard is 2pm. so i would assume all aboard for you will be no later than 7pm. escentialssoycandles Posted March 13, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted March 13, 2018 I guess I can drop my luggage to the porters and not embark until later?
jdvmd Posted March 13, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2018 (edited) I guess I can drop my luggage to the porters and not embark until later? I wouldn't do it. The agents will not be there indefinitely. Maybe drop off luggage with porters, check in with agents etc. Have your family meet you near the ship so you don't have to deal with the traffic.
