DCLCrazy Posted March 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2018 Hi, Can anyone tell me if he 30 day rule to transfer your reservation to a TA starts at time you buy the placeholder or time you book the placeholder into an actual reservation. I’m hoping someone know. I don’t want to be on hold forever with dcl. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

ivanp91 Posted March 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2018 The $250 placeholder deposit? Yes, because you won't be paying a deposit when you transfer the placeholder to an actual cruise.

CruiseCriticMamaBear Posted April 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2018 We want to book two space savers on our May 2018 cruise one to use May 2019 and one to use June 2020. I know they say you have to use them within 24 months. Do they make any exceptions?

I know they say you have to use them within 24 months. Do they make any exceptions? No. No exceptions. But you could not book with onboard incentives for 2 separate dates anyway. You can book 2 per address but they have to be for the same cruise. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare WrittenOnYourHeart Posted April 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Yes, because you won't be paying a deposit when you transfer the placeholder to an actual cruise. Actually you would pay whatever the difference between the required deposit and the $250 is when you convert it.
