LuckyCop Posted March 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2018 We have narrowed our excursion to either Blue Lagoon or Baha Mar. Have kiddos 6 and 8, who love the ocean. We love super calm water and nothing super crowded. Otherwise, we are easy to please. Thanks!
Shidah Posted March 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2018 I don't believe Baja Mar offers day passes. Unless something changed.
vahand Posted March 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2018 Do not go to Blue Lagoon! We were there last week, I wouldn’t go back if it were free. Bana Mar is beautiful if they have day pass. Have fun!

BNBR Posted March 20, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Either one would be a good option. Baha Mar probably more expensive since you have to book a room and the food/drinks are very pricey. Melia is right next door and has day passes. Blue Lagoon is excellent and a less expensive option.
KarimaJ Posted March 20, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2018 I contacted Baha Mar and no day passes. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
vahand Posted March 21, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 21, 2018 What happened that gave you such a bad experience? Sent from my iPad using Forums Many things actually, the staff on the island were rude, tried to keep our change after getting drinks, later learned same happened to others. Management was rude when we tried to get our change. Food was no better than fast food and beach was dirty, cigarette butts and other debris. vahand Posted March 22, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2018 Were you not tipping the bar staff? We tipped bar staff 25% at the bar as we exited the boat. We flagged down the server on the beach to order, were there 3 hours and only received 1 drink because she never came back with others and change. We didn’t have opportunity or even reason to tip, it took over 1 hour to retrieve the change and refund for what was purchased and not delivered. pands Posted April 3, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 3, 2018 If you are going to be in Nassau all day, you might want to consider a day trip out to Rose Island via Sandy Toes excursions. We're booked for an upcoming trip in May. I've been there a couple of times and they have a beautiful stretch of beach. The tour leaves at 10 am and returns at 3:30 pm.
