What's it like on deck 6 above the promenade, staying in a balcony

We were on deck 6, midship last fall. I prefer balcony a little more private and without the constant stream of smokers. It was horrible but I wouldn't book it again

Specifically what cabin number? With the promenade right below there could be some noisy cabins with the main theater, night club, piano bar, and casino all on deck 5.

If you are a night owl and will be out and about while these places are open then no worries, but if you like to call it an early night being in a cabin above the nightclub could be problematic.

We are considering cabin 6493 aft ...above limelight lounge. It's the only available "L" shaped cabin left for our sailing. We really like these cabins but was on deck 7. Opinions?

We have stayed in the 6th floor aft wraps several times and loved them. I do not remember noise at all from the lounge.

Actually have this same room booked for this fall on the Breeze, we also love the rear location and extra long balcony as a bonus for the same price. We have stayed in 6460 on the Magic, also an L-shaped cabin, which was above the steakhouse and very quiet. On the other side with 6493 you are above the comedy lounge and bar area, so might be a little noise there later in evening. Just depends on your routine, we usually are out and about at night, so doesn't bother us at all. Any of the rear cabins are just less traveled and quieter than mid-ship rooms on any floor. Staying in cabin 6372 balcony above the ocean plaza. Tried upgrading to decks 7 or 8 but that come with a 200$ increase. I'm going to call to see if I can move to the aft of the ship. What's the aft like, I've all ways traveled mid ship

Problem resolved, I called and had our cabin moved, same deck above The Fun Shop, thanks for all the input
