highseabuffet Posted March 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2018 For any curious cruisers, here are some pics of our recent suite. The best thing about the suite perks was breakfast at Cagneys every morning. Sent from my iPad using Forums
shanegela Posted March 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Also some additional notes about the cabin benefits. Penthouse Suite with Large Balcony (Category: SG) The bottled water provided in the suite was free. The tea is by Tea Forte and included flavors like: Earl Grey Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, Green Mint Tea, Chamomile Citron Tea The privacy of the balcony for viewing the coast is great. The room is on the starboard side. When passing the coast for Lava flow, the starboard side will see this first. We unfortunately did not get to see this cause of poor visibility. When passing the Napali coast, the starboard side will see this second. For us, this happened around 6:30pm. Being in a suite also provides a great concierge service to escort you off the ship. This was most helpful for visiting Kona which uses tender boats. Cagney's is open for breakfast and lunch for suite guests. The food at Cagney's was great but the menu does not change. Also, Thomas the Concierge, does walk around the tables during the morning service. He provides great information about the Islands and what to visit and where. My4Grandsons Posted March 22, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 22, 2018 There were two bottles of water in the fridge. The butler told us one was free. Hope I won’t be charged. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

One of our specialty meals was moderno it was terrible . The Cagneys was great . We had two bedroom suite 10678. The balcony was huge Sent from my iPhone using Forums

It is a shower/tub combo. From the bed, you walk towards the closet area that then goes to the bathroom. There is a curtain between the bed and the closet area. Since we shared with 4 people in a suite, the curtain was great for privacy.

TucsonRick Posted July 24, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Is there no side chair in the seating area, just the sofa? I will be in 10020 this fall. I assume that they are the same. Rick

sjudis Posted July 24, 2018 #13 Share Posted July 24, 2018 You don’t get anything else for the suite? Liquor? Free happy hour? Nothing? NCL has the monopoly on this Hawaiian cruise[emoji35] Sent from my iPad using Forums
highseabuffet Posted July 24, 2018 Author #14 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Oh the best perk of them all is being able to eat breakfast and lunch at Cagney’s. Breakfast was the best. So good, in fact, that my parents still talk about it to this day. I personally think the suite cost was worth it especially since I was traveling with my parents (80 y/o and 69 y/o) so we were not stacked with activities on the island all day.
