Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted March 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2018 I know the casino Royale will start its new program March 31st , looking at the new rewards program, a person would fall under a category...one being " select " and not receive any complimentary stateroom....prime where I see most people will end up will receive an interior stateroom....signature a balcony....my question is, how can Club Royal say that they are enhancing the program for those who fall into the 5k-15k point category.....it used to be you go on a cruise and get 5k you were given a list of complimentary cruises that you can choose from and would get a balcony. The only benefit I see are for those who gamble alot and take multiple cruises per year, am I wrong?
sellwingri Posted March 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2018 I’m on Radiance of the Seas right now and neither the Casino Host nor Casino Manager know specifically how the new program works. All I do know is that points are cumulative so if you’re a VIP, you’ll be a VIP for 18 months, even if you don’t gamble a lot on one cruise. Takes the pressure off for me. Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted March 20, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted March 20, 2018 I heard yes the first year they will take into account 18 months but after next year it will be 15 months then I believe in 2020 every year from then on. Honestly, most people only go on one or two cruises yearly (at least I think) how is this program benefit us when we drop from balcony cabin to interior? The enhanced program is if you pick up the phone and call you can get onto a cruise and that is the type of stateroom you can expect if there is something available on the date and ship you would like to sail on. I posted on another thread if you go to the RCCL Blog and search Club Royale you will get a lot of information. I received free wifi, champagne in the room, comp drinks in casino and more. Not to mention a great cruise!!!

Not to mention a great cruise!!! How do you search on the RCCL Blog? I just went to the site and didn’t see any search function. As far as I know, even Casino Royale call center reps aren’t fully aware of how the new program will work. I’ve had 3 reps tell me that over the past week.
