We are taking an Alaska cruise on the NA. Other than room and deck size what are the extra or different perks between the two? We Haven’t sailed HAL since early 90’s. We’ve done NCL Haven and Princess Suites. Thanks for any insight!

The 'official' perks are exactly the same for both.

With the PS, you are normally escorted on board and can do course by course dining at your dining room table.

You can also entertain easily and order sufficient munchies for the entire group without any issue.

At least, that has been my limited experience.

The PS on the Nieuw Amsterdam has a whirlpool on its verandah -- but I doubt if you would use it in Alaska. It also has a big whirlpool in the bathroom. In addition to the huge main bathroom, there is a separate 1/2 bath room.

The cabin is much larger than a Neptune Suite.

The perks are the same for both categories.
