It will most likely be the Old San Juan cruise port. That is right in the middle of the Old San Juan area with lots of shops within a few blocks of the port.

It will dock in Old San Juan. Tons of shopping as your right in the heart of the historic district. Have a blast!

Liquor store is in the port but you have to go upstairs to the main shop - and it’s okay. You have better duty free shops in Grand Turks and Amber cove if you are going on the summer NYC cruises. You cannot miss those shops as you walk through them to get on and off the ship. Prices were better than the ship and selection was larger.

No, it will be taken by Security when you come back on board and stored for you until either the last night of the cruise or debarkation morning at which point it will be returned to you.

Only alcoholic purchases will be held till the end of the cruise. All other purchases can be brought back to your stateroom.

Good point. I assumed the poster was asking about alcohol but yes, anything else you buy in port (that isn't prohibited) can be taken back on board and to your cabin. :)

We docked on Pier 4 (on the end) in Old San Juan on the Glory a few weeks ago. I believe there are four piers in Old San Juan.

Yes you can, as long as it's in the Carnival-regulation-specified sealed cans and not bottles or boxes.

Yes you can, but probably not to drink on board. It will be held and delivered to you on the last night of your cruise. If delivered before dinner, then you may be able to enjoy it
