7 Mile Beach

We will be stopping in Grand Cayman on our Carnival cruise and are planning to spend some time at the beach. Does anyone have any recommendations on best place to go along 7 mile beach and about how much does chair/umbrella rentals cost? We will have 2 little ones with us, so we're trying to figure out the details ahead of time. Thanks! :)

I think we paid about $35 or so for 2 loungers and an umbrella....that was near Calico Jacks.....the bus will stop wherever you ask them to...and when you're done, walk the few steps to the road, and the next bus will stop for you! They also have restrooms handy!

Just got back from Calico Jacks and we paid $20 for two loungers, no umbrella (we didn't want one).

Chairs were bad, really bad and awful. But we did enjoy our time there once it quieted down.

How far is Calico Jacks from the pier?

Nice beach, my recommendation stay away from the ships anchored near the beach. when they start moving create strong currents very dangerous for the swimmers.

Almost four miles. Take a taxi or bus.

Try Royal Palms, they have a bar and pretty great food.
