Celebrity Equinox - theme nights in the ocean view cafe?

I realize that this may vary greatly from ship to ship and sailing to sailing, but does anyone who has been on the Equinox recently know if they do theme nights at the buffet?

We've been on cruises in the past where we've eaten in the MDR only to find out we missed a great theme night at the ship's buffet (ex: chocolate extravaganza, Mexican food, Indian food, etc).

If I remember, pretty much every night is a theme night in the buffet. Different nationality every night. Not sure I would skip the MDR just for this because it's still a buffet.

Hopefully they announce this in advance so you can make an informed decision!

It’s noted in The Daily what the theme is for the Oceanview.

We love the theme nights in the Oceanview Cafe on the Equinox. We do a mixture of specialties and the Oceanview, we never eat in the MDR.

We were on the March 24th sailing of the Equinox- there were themes for lunch and dinner in the oceanview cafe.

 

 

Mexican lunch after return from Costa Maya or Cozumel

 

Other nights...

English - Beef Wellington, Shepards’s pie

 

Spanish including tapas and Paella

 

Italian - remember Tiramasu, Eggplant Parmigiana, chicken cacciatore

 

There was almost always an Indian section near the grill area in the buffet towards the aft of the ship.

Recently off the Connie and there was a large LCD screen at the entry of the OV that had the theme for lunch and/or dinner.
