It s hot sandwich : ground meat like a meatloaf, mushrooms, onions on great pumpernickel bread. It was almost as good as the one's my Danish" bestamor "made when I was young.:hearteyes:

For me to seek out a Burger King or any other US food chain, I’d have to have been without any food for a month and it would have to be THE only food source for miles and miles [emoji12]

Don't judge! We are adventurous eaters and generally don't imbibe from US food chains while travelling (or at home either for that matter) ... BUT ... once in a while the chains serve a purpose. On our winter trip in Barcelona we had just arrived and had 1:30 tickets for a tour of Palau de la Musica. It was a reasonable and pleasant walk from the hotel but we were starving. We had a little time but not enough to sit down in a café and eat a leisurely, European style meal. Lo and behold a Burger King came into view! We knew we could get a quick bite and move on to our tour without grumbling stomachs. We even had beer with our burgers! It is not something we would generally do but it is a quick fix when one is needed!
