Do you mean the route taken to view those locations, or whether those location stops are included? Scenic cruising will be just at sea viewing, no stops. Hope someone else can help you with the actual route taken through this fjord.
guest26 Posted April 1, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted April 1, 2018 I mean only view during cruise. I have read that Naeryfjord is spectacular but do not know if we will go through there in that scenic cruise
Nang Posted April 2, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Naeryfjord is is not listed in the itinerary which I believe answers your question but if you need to check a quick email to HAL will confirm. Flam provided one of the top five days cruising I have done. I would book another cruise which includes it - its a must see.
knittinggirl Posted April 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Isn't the fjord to Flam where they have the Seven Sisters Waterfall?

I'd say it's unlikely. Your port that day is up a longer fjord, and I doubt they would take the time to sail up a different fjord on the way out. HAL often includes "scenic cruising" on the itinerary if the sail to or from a port has nice scenery. Isn't the fjord to Flam where they have the Seven Sisters Waterfall? No, that's Geiranger. Beautiful!!
shrimpboat123 Posted April 2, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 2, 2018 I mean only view during cruise. I have read that Naeryfjord is spectacular but do not know if we will go through there in that scenic cruise Last year (May 21st), on our way out of Flam, the Captain surprised us with a special detour to Naeroyfjorden. It was an unscheduled scenic cruise up that fjord and well worth it.
colonialinnkeeper Posted April 2, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 2, 2018 We did the 14 day Norway cruise and it had some of the most spectacular scenery of any cruise we have taken. Gorgeous fjords and wonderful, scenic ports. We can't wait to go back. Enjoy!
Rare ski ww Posted April 2, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2018 That is one cruise that is on our bucket list, have heard & read so many good things about this itinerary. Allan
bennybear Posted April 2, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Loved the Norwegian fjords, but closer to home the Canadian inside passage and Alaska are equally beautiful.
jhannah Posted April 2, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 2, 2018 I never heard of Naeroyfjord until this post, and we've been up the west coast of Norway twice. So I'm thinking, as others have already suggested, that you won't visit there.
