weluvafrica Posted April 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Hi everyone, My husband and I will be on the seabourn guest on December 20, 2018. I was wondering if anyone had done the optional kyakking tours and if you needed previous experience on a kyak to participate, also could you tell me if the kyakking was difficult in the Antarctic waters. All information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lucille
CruiserBruce Posted April 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2018 The better place for your research is the Seabourn board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
6rugrats Posted April 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2018 I think experience kayaking before attempting this would be very useful.
maryann ns Posted April 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2018 My husband kayaked in Antarctica on another ship. They only went out on calm waters. It looked to be a magical experience. The company (G Adventures) said you should be experience but my husband found several had none at all. They were double kayaks and they had to juggle groups around a but.
