Luggage amt each transportation type can carry

Flying into MIA and cruising from Port Everglades arriving night before and staying near the port. Considering Lyft, Uber and other shuttles. Does anyone know the amount of luggage each type of transportation type will take for 2 people in party and where cut offs are. Do not want to call car and find will not take luggage. Not heavy packers, but must travel with some medical luggage also. Will have to reverse process on debarkation day and go from Port Everglades back to MIA. Thanks!

Every taxi I have taken at Ft Lauderdale has handled two people's bags fine. Most can handle up to about 4 people's worth.

Typical UberX or Lyft is a Toyota Camry or similar sized vehicle (I've had everything from a king cab pick-up to a Honda Fit). Two plus bags should fit easily - worst case you may need to place one or more carry-on bags in the seat with you, depending upon the car and how big your bags are.
