Stalking the Carnival Website Pays Off!

Hubby and I were booked on the April 27, 2019 cruise on the Paradise to Key West/Cuba. Even though I wasn't really expecting the price of a Cuba cruise to go down much, I have been faithfully checking the website just in case. When I logged in this morning, I noticed that there was a new Cuba sailing now listed for April 13, 2019 which just happens to be our actual anniversary. We ended up saving $322 by switching to this new sailing date (even after the $50 pp Early Saver change penalty)!

 

Saved money, cruising over our anniversary and even got to extend our time in Havana a bit! A win-win-win!

Carnival just announced 19 new cruise dates for Cuba (2019), sounds like you got one.

And if you booked the new cruise with Early Saver as well, you can continue to check for price drops and possibly save even more. Plenty of time between now and then, there's a pretty good chance it'll happen. :)

I did! And this date works so much better for us and also for other friends/family that want to go. We had picked the other date because we really wanted that extended time in Cuba. This one offers more time in Cuba and better dates. Can't beat that!

I think we are still Early Saver (I'm verifying this with our PVP though...we booked EA, then price matched a Casino Rate, but should still be ES). I'm wondering if there will be some immediate cancellations of people who were booked for this sailing before it switched to Cuba who don't want to go Cuba. If so, that might result in some price drops! Cuba sailings are pretty in demand, so I'm not getting my hopes up for a drop...but I keep on checking just in case! :D

We went to Cuba last October (not on a cruise) and I can't wait to go back. I am hoping to convince my hubby we need to cruise to Cuba. Maybe I'll just surprise him and not even bother trying to convince him. Lol.

There are some great prices for these new cruises to Cuba right now. The fall dates are very cheap and we are extremely happy with the price we paid on this new date. Go for it!
