TravisP Posted April 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2018 You are not supposed to bring a torch cigar lighter. They are on the banned items list.
mardukeme Posted April 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2018 When I was on the Harmony, I saw a few people within the smoking section with cigars using the torch lighters. Didn't know the were banned on board, but people still had them. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk

myk249 Posted April 10, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Why wouldn't they be allowed? You never know these days. I just did not want to bring them and then have them held until after the cruise..

myk249 Posted April 11, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted April 11, 2018 I plan on bringing my cigars but will probably just bring a regular lighter. Ditto on this. I have a second lighter that I will bring. I have a travel case that will hold everything which I'll carry on in hopes of my luggage not being delayed. Goodtime Cruizin Posted April 11, 2018 #12 Share Posted April 11, 2018 I have carried a disposable 'torch lighter' on each of our 8 cruises w/ RCL. Check these out... order and bring it. No one cares. https://www.amazon.com/REFILLABLE-LIGHTER-Bakebros-Silicone-Container/dp/B01AE3MCH6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523449636&sr=8-1&keywords=disposable+torch+lighters
Cigar King Posted April 11, 2018 #13 Share Posted April 11, 2018 I prefer to light my cigars with matches. That being said, I also bring a torch lighter, it's easier when relighting, especially as the cigar gets smaller. I do remove the fluid before I pack, and refill on board, to prevent an in flight accident. I have plenty of freebies so I don't care what happens to them. TeeRick Posted April 11, 2018 #14 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Generally I just purchase a disposable lighter in the shops on board. Not as good particularly if windy out but it will do.

I'm driving so no flight worries, I will probably just fill before I pack it. I'll be the guy asking to borrow someones lighter when mine runs out:D
