What's in a Leto?

Its sort of a cocktail/beer hybrid

"Muddled strawberries and basil leases strained into fresh lime juice and topped with Pilsner Urquell, then garnished with an Aleppo-lime salt rim".

We just got off the Freedom, did the 3/31 sailing. LOVED IT!!!! Had sooooo much fun. Look for the waiter named Ryan at the pool - it's actually his last name, but that's what he goes by. He would make up trays of the same drink and bring them around. Just hand him your card. Best.idea.ever! I was never thirsty on the Freedom! :) Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was gonna go straight to bed but Aunt Sally surprised us at dinner with a visit. She moved to Florida a few years back so it's rare we see her. She insisted she buy me a better glass of wine at the lobby bar. It was tons better. Had a last drink and off to bed. 7f509ebf920d2fefec45a7dd6ee557ab.jpg

Walked to the bridge again to catch the ships coming in but only caught the New Amsterdam pulling in. Once it turned we caught site of the Freedom on the far left. At least I'm pretty sure it's the freedom. A little hard to see from here. Stopped for coffee and tea across from the hotel and back to our room to wait to get moving. 434d7924a5d9e25b4c6d69fdcd90a2e5.jpg3f53d26903c59999d479accd56e884f5.jpg

Have fun. We’re just about ready to disembark. Sure hate to leave the boat. But we left it in good shape for y’all. Hoping for no hassles for you getting on. Like we had last week.
Thank you. Have a safe trip home.

On Freedom in 49 days! Drink packages for hubby and I so really looking forward to your review. You are my kind of vacationer! I was doing a happy dance when Southwest sent us drink coupons for our flights...;p

On the ship and my first drink within 15 minutes at 11:45. No much of a line for security or check in. Only because we had to accompany my mother in law who was in a wheelchair. Waiting for second round. Lava flow with Kraken rum. Mai Tai were being advertised for $10. Not the drink of the day. be7d004c5725e165f0f4040794a336f2.jpgdc0ed4b70239eca3d7386702e7b495cd.jpg

Good morning everyone. I couldn't keep up with the posting yesterday but I did have a total of 4 lava flows in the afternoon. Then the sweetness got too much for me.

I went back and unpacked my clothes around 3 right before muster drill. Then meandered up to deck 12 to see if we could see any of the sail away before our early seating dinner at 530. But no luck. I did have a rum and coke for sail away though. 451720b0305c5e8b061686f8eb59549a.jpg

Next up dinner. It was yummy. We one of the long tables in Leonardos on deck 3 right when you walk in. Forgot to take a picture though. Did get a pic of the menu. Sorry it's a little blurry. I had 2 glasses of pinot grigio with dinner. 2 other people had white wine also. And all our glasses got mixed up. So we had to keep passing back and forth. 53bbb1fa66169b1178b91b41fafa7343.jpg

After dinner we walked around the outside of deck 4. Then we headed down the promenade and I grabbed a vodka and cranberry from the pub as everyone was getting there free samples of alcohol. Everyone wanted to get in the hot tub. But I was exhausted. It had been a long day. So I headed to bed. d5be459fa4803d53a5daa2edc0420136.jpg566e1cae2251d0ca64218e7061574a93.jpga02d0805703c9b5b30bf3f7fec7e6fb8.jpg40058c9f8b505e6eaaa4dc70187be14c.jpg

Went for a little walk along deck 4 on the port side and there is a terrible sewage smell out there. Seas seem to be getting rougher. The 6 of us stopped for drinks at the Schooner bar. A pina colada, 2 Miami vice and I got a strawberry mojito. My husband is still drinking coffee from his karafe. Now we are playing a little in the casino. dd580913da07e5333ce1b1a5a58815ab.jpg
