andie717 Posted April 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2018 We have recently been on the Dream and just returned from Vista. I posted earlier about starting to plan our spring break for March, 2020. With a group, and teens, we want a ship that has a great water area, sports area, ropes course, etc. Obviously, the Vista class has all of this. The Dream Class does, too, correct? Are there any other ships I should be looking at? Favorites that have lots of outdoor activities? Thanks!
schazzy Posted April 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2018 I think Vista and Dream class have all those things, as well as the Sunshine.
kpadalik Posted April 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2018 I’m not sure which class it is in, but the Breeze was wonderful. It has been our favorite Carnival ship so far and we loved the itinerary we did (southern). Sent from my iPhone using Forums
ABQrobin Posted April 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2018 Dream class = Dream, Magic, and Breeze Vista class = Vista and Horizon (with Panarama coming) Any of these ships will please the teens. Pick by itinerary and port of departure.
cruziJenn Posted April 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2018 Also endorsing Dream class, especially Breeze for all of those things. And just fyi, as for ports Breeze is moving from Galveston to Port Canaveral late this year....end of Oct I believe.
CruisinWithDLS Posted April 13, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2018 Just FYI, some Dream class ships have the ropes course. However, the Dream does not but it's still a great ship!

We didn't try the ropes course but it looked fun. We also liked the Thrill Theater, although I believe I saw a rumor here on CC that they are getting rid of that. SNJCruisers Posted April 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Breeze out of Pt. Canaveral or the Horizon out of Miami. You also have the FLL option for flying into if you choose the Horizon.

evandbob Posted April 14, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2018 I've sailed the 3 Dream class ships, the Vista, the 5 Conquest class ships many times, and will be on the Horizon in May. The Dream class is simply wonderful, the Vista a bit pricier, and the Conquest class ships serviceable. For teens, the best may be Vista/Horizon, but might be too costly; I would opt keeping teens happy on the Dream class ships. Conquest class may be too "tame" for today's plugged in next generation. Moonarino Posted April 14, 2018 #12 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Ropes course: Carnival website lists Breeze, Magic, Vista, Horizon and Sunshine. "Coming soon" to Panorama. I can personally vouch that Breeze has good-to-excellent all-of-the-above. (Yep, another Breeze fan.)
