mdsgu Posted April 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2018 We went to the Viva Wyndham for the day. We only had 6 people ranging from 7 to 70. Beach was almost deserted, but it was pretty. Included alcohol and lunch. Transportation was "find your own," but that was easy. Check out resort for a day.com (just remove the spaces). Your taxi driver might tell you when you arrive at the resort that you have to pay for the trip there AND the trip back. Don't be fooled. Pay for what you have received and tell them politely but firmly that you will pay for the trip back to ship when you get back to the ship. A&Jfamily Posted April 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2018 If everyone wants to stay together, I would book a ship excursion. Or, else plan on several taxis over to the beach area.

Nic6318 Posted April 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Hi If you are willing to go to the beach, save the money from a all-inclusive and just toke a shuttle, they have nice beach clubs, with reasonable prices. Check the port of call threads. When you get off the ship, you will see shuttles to the left. Just tell someone you would like to go to the beach, and how much will it be. They will get you to a nice beach... specify where if you would like to go to a specific beach. Have a great cruise
Tiger0613 Posted April 17, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Carnival does group excursions, custom group excursions, and private group excursions. There is a minimum of 12 people. You don't have to book the cruise as a group. The ship won't leave you behind. https://www.carnival.com/group-shore-excursions.aspx
