Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #401 Share Posted April 27, 2018 I'm up, and having a light breakfast in the buffet. I still don't trust my stomach. I got my laundry back this morning, which was good and today I really don't have any plans except relax in the spa at some point. Here's day 7 dailies. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #402 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Saw the Los Lobos cooking demonstration in the atrium and then headed up to the spa to chill. Single Cruiser mentioned feeling tired on this trip and I feel the same. I really think it's mostly the time change along with the fact I never do sleep as well in a bed that isn't mine. On most cruises this is the day I'd be packing up. It seems weird that it's just a little over halfway done. I actually have reservations tonight for Tenpanyaki. That should be fun. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #403 Share Posted April 27, 2018 It's a beautiful day out today and people are taking advantage of it on the pool deck. I haven't gone into the Observation Lounge yet today so can't comment on if they are policing the no feet on the furniture statement in daily or not. They might be since I just walked by yesterday's chair hogs now in the atrium. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #408 Share Posted April 27, 2018 That Alien Brain Shot is so cool! You can tell it takes a skilled bartender to make. Awesome! How did it taste? Lisa N. Interesting. A little too sweet for my taste but it did go down smooth. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #411 Share Posted April 27, 2018 So I have no idea what the mini golf thing was but can confirm there is nothing on the ship. Probably a ship game like someone posted above. Also, there is no need for boots to drive the go carts. My slip on sneakers were fine as was everyone else who had normal non-sandel shoes. One of the best posts from our FB group was how they let a blind man drive with his wife giving directions in one of the double cars. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #414 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Walked by Coco's and thought I'd pick up some chocolates. I picked out 3 and said I do a box with 4 so I did. I did not ask how much it cost since the chocolates were $1.50 each and my experience is that it usually costs the same or you get a bit of a discount with the box. Well, the box for 4 was $10 so they do charge for the box. I asked just for pieces loose and they obliged by putting them in a gelato cup. It was $6 for those plus the 18%. Then I stopped at the Mixx bar and got a Toma even though it's not on the menu. Internet went wonky again so I got a Dark & Stormy too. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #415 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Tonight is Teppanyaki using the 2nd of my 3 SDP. I got here a little early after having a Margarita in the A-List. So I'm just waiting for everyone else to arrive and enjoying a Wasabi Cocktail and the smells from the grills in action. Blissful Cruiser Posted April 27, 2018 #418 Share Posted April 27, 2018 What are the times to reserve for Teppanyak? I know they have an early sitting, not sure of the time. Also, do you think these times will be the same for future cruises? Did not know how much things will change once the ship gets to Alaska for 7 days - itinerary's will be much different, I'm sure. Thank you!

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 27, 2018 Author #420 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Teppanyaki can always be counted on for consistently good food cooked well and this meal was no exception. Our chef did mess up his act a few times but recovered quickly. I started taking pictures but then just let it go because you see one pictures here you've basically seen them all. I have to get up early tomorrow for the behind the scenes tour so I'm heading to bed. Crab towel animal greeted me with the day 8 Freestyle.
