GolfGuy1948 Posted April 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2018 We are cruising to New England & Canada on the Celebrity Summit this September. Any recommendations on shore excursions in: 1.) Saguenay, Quebec 2.) Sydney, Nova Scotia 3.). Halifax, Nova Scotia - It's our understanding just walking along the Harbor Walk and visiting the Maritime Museum is fun. Thanks in advance. :D:D:D:):D
sailingmickey Posted April 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2018 In addition to walking around the cruise port in Halifax, The Citadel is supposed to worth seeing. Check TripAdvisor's for details.

DaveOKC Posted May 6, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2018 In Sydney, Nova Scotia I did an excursion to the coal mining and Bell museums. Both museums were interesting, but the best part was the tour of an actual coal mine, which went under the ocean! It was led by a retired miner who told us many interesting stories of what the miners endured and how the mine worked. Since my Dad was a coal miner for several years, this tour really hit home for me, but I am certain everyone would enjoy it (unless you are claustrophobic!). You do have to walk bent over part of the time and it is quite dark (naturally), so if you have mobility issues this tour is not for you IMO.
