Best Price Guarantee

I booked with a TA and booked an Oceanview GTY. A few weeks later we were given our stateroom and were given a Cat.6.

 

Now a few months later I noticed the price of Oceanview GTY's are almost $100 cheaper.

 

My TA tried to see if I qualify for the Best Price Guarantee but when she talked to someone at Celebrity they told her we would have to reprice to the lowest Oceanview and would loose our stateroom assignment.

 

Is the information my TA received correct, or should she call again and hopefully get someone else?

I would think your TA is correct. If you reprice to a Guarantee Ocean View you could get anything from a Category 4-8.
